Easy stay and friendly family
My family has a great visit. We were able to arrive late and have great accommodations. It was very laidback and easy. The kids loved the animals and we will be back again.

Great spot to stay. Easy to find, and good amount of space. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area! Be ready to wake up to the cows and dodge goats and chickens on the way in and out.

Camping in a field
Very basic camping in a field with a port-a-potty. The site was back from the road so it was quiet. It fit the bill nicely.

This is our second visit going east from the West and so worth it. It was nice to see other campers enjoying the area, but no one too close by. A great place to let our dogs romp in the fields or settle in with us by the fire. We’ll be back!

I absolutely adore every part of my experience. It had such a peaceful feeling and soooo quiet. I needed to take the weekend and find some inner peace and I found it here. Definitely want to stay here again in the spring.

I like it because it is only about 8 miles from Hwy 90 and easy to find. There’s no fuss checking in and it has large grassy areas so you aren’t camping right next to anyone, at least when I’ve been there. Note it is a small farm so there are various farm animals, but the camping is not very close to them. Overall, it works well for me.

This farm is a great location just outside of tourism and Grand River Valley Wine region. Host was very laid back and welcoming. Unfortunately the weather was not good for our 1 overnight stay. We have 35 ft motorcoach and didn’t want to chance going to the back fields but I bet it is beautiful. Quite a few other people pulled in but plenty of space to be away from people. Personally we came for the animals anyway which were a delight. Our Weiner dog wanted to be a goat herder! Would recommend to anyone and there are some amenities for those who need. We may be back as we come to wineries often but will for sure wait for good weather so we can walk the grounds and have a fire. Thanks for the safe stay!

Fun and Enjoyable Stay
This was our first time using hipcamp. We arrived and were greeted and given multiple options for locations to set up camp at. Any of the options would have been great. After setting up we enjoyed watching the goats grazing it the same field we were camping in. They kept their distance from us. Before dark we were brought firewood and let us know that if we needed anything to let them know. Was perfect combination of being friendly while giving us space and privacy. Just a quick hi and then let us be. We are quite self sufficient and didn’t ask for anything. Their property is very quite. One of the best night sleeps we have had while camping. Would highly recommend staying with them!
We had an absolutely amazing time. The kiddos played with the farm animals, they ran free around the camp site, and we felt completely safe. As two momma’s traveling with littles, this was the best spot we could have imagined to spend the night. We sat under the stars with our campfire going, and ate s’mores, looked at the beautiful night sky, and had an experience of a lifetime for our littles. Thank you so much for such an amazing stay.
This campsite was beautiful and quiet.. we used the kayaks and got fresh eggs for breakfast.. Russell kept us loaded with fire wood for our stay.. highly recommend..it was the perfect spot to catch the super moon rise.
We decided to find a place to watch the super moon! And this location did not disappoint! We had the perfect spot! Quiet, and private. There were other campers but the distance was helpful. We also rented kayaks! Which was a nice added touch. We explored the grand river which was a little low at the time but still a relaxing time! We will definitely be back!

I loved this joint for my first camping trip in 30 yrs and my wife’s only camping trip. Go there!
Great place to camp, although April is muddy sites we’re flexible so camped on solid land. They are great hosts with bringing you firewood and checking in on each group. Stayed for the 2024 eclipse so there extra campsites but everyone had their own space around their back field. Plenty of space for my pup to roam! Would recommend of you are looking to camp in the area!
